Sara Maeglin is an associate in the Employment Law Practice Group for Lohf Shaiman Jacobs Hyman & Feiger PC. Ms. Maeglin’s practice primarily focuses on employment discrimination law, such as sexual harassment and race discrimination. Ms. Maeglin also has a special interest in cases involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ms. Maeglin pursued a career in law with the intention of helping women, the underprivileged, and the discriminated against. Her objective was (and still is) to level the playing field for all employees and ensure that all individuals succeed based on merit, skill, and effort.

Beside her work within the firm, Ms. Maeglin has pursued advocacy opportunities outside of the firm in line with her objective. Ms. Maeglin currently serves as the Colorado Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association’s President; is a committee member on the Anti-Bullying Committee, a subcommittee of the Colorado Lawyers Committee; and participates on the Equal Pay for Equal Work Committee, a subcommittee of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.

In her free time, Ms. Maeglin enjoys reading historical nonfiction, catching a Wes Anderson movie, and running outside in beautiful Colorado.
